Our Story

The Night has been a fascination of our people since the dawn of time. What lurks beyond the veil of darkness is of great fascination. Living in the world of darkness is often understood by day walkers. Where understanding sadness brings joy, mirth brings a smirk, and knowing the pain of the past allows our own sorrows to escape and bind us in unique and special ways to places that just creep others out. The places where others avoid suit us just fine – less norms to deal with on a daily basis.

Existing amongst the rest of civilization has brought compassion such that we wanted to share the dusk with those who want to explore and dabble in the darkness, so that maybe they can find solace for their souls.

This brought about the desire to bring around a consolidated compilation of things that call out to goths, emo, witches, pagans, and others. And what fun is it to travel somewhere to enjoy only one thing? That’s not the right kind of wrong. Our goal is to get clusters of options that others may find calling out to sojourning souls seeking solace.

Started in 2026, we are seeking out places and events across many genres. Though there are many sites we manage, this is a collection run by a family that truly enjoys each genre & not a corporate giant. We give back to our community and a portion of any profits will always go to charities. Veiled Path – Who says Children of the Night don’t want to explore the world around them? We just want to do it our way… Where every destination has a hidden story, and every journey reveals something the maps don’t show.

Enter The Weird – Your guide to the gloriously strange, the delightfully odd, and every roadside wonder worth the detour.

Con Boost – Elevating your Convention experiences, connecting you to conventions of all kinds, and improving Cons’ visibility & business experience as well. Although other sites exist in this space, we are trying to elevate the experience & boosting visibility by connecting patrons, cosplay resources, vendors, event spaces, and cons all together and helping you plan your escapes.

Greater Happiness – Our parent LLC, as Greater Happiness comes from lowered expectations. In other words, don’t be so hard to please. So often others expect the impossible and are thus disappointed – conversely, our core belief revolves around entering into an experience with a blank slate ready to be written to, so that our experiences are all unique and enjoyable within their own context. This allows finding beauty in the unexpected, basking in moonlit glow, and connecting to what speaks to us instead of what others seek simply because countless others went somewhere in a cyclic fury of unoriginality. By challenging the norms of society in a healthy way, the Darkness can bring more benefit than the Blinding Light.
